PROFESSOR:

Jason DeRoche & Paul Lasanté

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This synthesis course is designed to allow the student to take stock of the interaction between philosophical and theological perspectives. It provides the student with tools to exercise discernment in the face of the various discourses of the Church in the contemporary world. Thus, students will examine the various approaches to apologetic methodology and engage the classical issues in apologetics such as the existence of God, the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the problem of suffering, creation-evolution, and the authority of the Bible.
